Shipping policy
At Le Sage May, every order is packed with care, intention, and a little prayer — because we know that what arrives at your door is more than a package. It is a reflection of our faith, our love for our community, and our commitment to serving you well. Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.
SECTION 1 – ORDER PROCESSING
Processing Timeframe
All orders are processed within 2–5 business days from the time your order is placed and payment is confirmed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and any dates Le Sage May announces as closed.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.
Note: During major sales events, product launches, and holiday seasons, processing times may extend to 5–7 business days. We will always communicate delays on our website and social media.
Order Confirmation
Once your order is placed, you will receive an automated order confirmation email to the email address provided at checkout. This confirmation means we have received your order — it does not yet mean your order has shipped.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please:
· Check your spam or junk mail folder.
· Verify the email address you entered at checkout.
· Contact us at amanda@lesagemay.com and we will look into it promptly.
Order Cut-Off Times
Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST on a business day will generally begin processing that same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM CST will begin processing the following business day.
Order Changes & Cancellations
We begin processing orders quickly to get them to you as fast as possible. If you need to make a change to or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at amanda@lesagemay.com with your order number in the subject line.
We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has entered the fulfillment process. If your order has already shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must be handled through our Refund & Return Policy.
SECTION 2 – SHIPPING RATES & OPTIONS
How Rates Are Calculated
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the following factors:
· Destination (domestic vs. international)
· Package weight and dimensions
· Selected shipping speed
· Any applicable promotions or free shipping thresholds
The exact shipping cost will be displayed before you complete your purchase. You will not be charged any shipping fees beyond what is shown at checkout.
Domestic Shipping Options (U.S.)
We currently offer the following shipping options for orders within the United States:
· Standard Shipping — Estimated 5–8 business days after shipment
· Expedited Shipping — Estimated 2–3 business days after shipment (where available)
· Priority Shipping — Estimated 1–2 business days after shipment (where available)
Availability of expedited and priority options may vary based on your location and the items in your order. All estimated delivery times begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement.
Free Shipping
Le Sage May may offer free standard shipping promotions from time to time. When available, free shipping thresholds and eligibility will be clearly communicated at checkout and on our website. Free shipping applies to standard shipping only and is not available for expedited or priority options unless specifically stated.
Note: Free shipping promotions do not apply to Pre-Order items unless explicitly stated.
Carriers We Use
Le Sage May ships via the following carriers:
· USPS (United States Postal Service)
· UPS (United Parcel Service)
· FedEx
We reserve the right to select the most appropriate carrier for each shipment based on your location, package size, and the shipping option selected. Carrier selection does not affect the shipping speed you have chosen.
SECTION 3 – TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order has been packaged and handed to the carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
· Your tracking number
· The carrier handling your shipment
· A link to track your package in real time
Please allow 24–48 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking information to update in the carrier's system. It is normal for tracking to show no movement immediately after a label is created.
Tracking Issues
If your tracking information has not updated for more than 5 business days, or if tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us at amanda@lesagemay.com. We will work with the carrier to investigate the status of your shipment.
Important: Before contacting us, please check with neighbors, building management, and other household members, as carriers sometimes leave packages in alternate locations.
SECTION 4 – DELIVERY
Delivery Estimates
All delivery time estimates are provided in good faith and are based on standard carrier timelines. They are estimates only and are not guarantees. Le Sage May is not liable for packages that are delayed beyond estimated delivery windows due to:
· High shipping volume periods (holidays, sales events)
· Severe weather, natural disasters, or other acts of God
· Carrier operational delays or strikes
· Incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer
· Customs delays (for international shipments)
Delivery Attempts
Carriers typically make multiple delivery attempts for packages requiring a signature. If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a delivery notice with instructions on how to schedule a redelivery or pick up your package from a local facility.
Le Sage May is not responsible for packages that are returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or an insufficient address. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping costs.
Signature Requirements
Most Le Sage May orders do not require a signature upon delivery. However, for high-value orders, we reserve the right to require a signature at our discretion. You will be notified at the time of shipping if a signature is required for your order.
PO Boxes
We ship to PO Boxes via USPS only. If you enter a PO Box as your shipping address at checkout, please ensure USPS is selected or available for your order. If we are unable to ship to your PO Box via the selected carrier, we will contact you to obtain an alternate address.
SECTION 5 – ADDRESS ACCURACY
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of checkout. Le Sage May is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
Address Changes After Order Placement
If you realize you have entered an incorrect shipping address, please contact us immediately at amanda@lesagemay.com with your order number and the corrected address. We will make every effort to update your address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been fulfilled.
If an order has already shipped to an incorrect address:
· We will assist you in filing a package redirect request with the carrier (fees may apply and are the customer's responsibility).
· If the package is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange reshipping (reshipping fees apply).
· If the package is delivered to the incorrect address and cannot be recovered, Le Sage May is not liable for the loss.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable (insufficient address, unclaimed, or refused), we will notify you by email. You will have the option to:
· Pay a reshipping fee to have the order sent to a corrected address.
· Receive a refund for the product(s) minus original shipping costs (if applicable).
Note: Original shipping charges are non-refundable in cases of undeliverable packages due to customer error.
SECTION 6 – LOST, STOLEN & DAMAGED PACKAGES
Lost Packages
A package is considered lost if tracking has shown no movement for 10 or more business days (domestic) and there is no record of delivery. If you believe your package is lost:
· Contact us at amanda@lesagemay.com with your order number and tracking number.
· We will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf.
· Investigations can take 5–10 business days to resolve.
Once an investigation is complete, if the package is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement order or store credit at our discretion.
Stolen or Missing Packages (Delivered)
If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please:
· Check with all household members, neighbors, and your building management office.
· Check all possible delivery locations (front door, back door, garage, mailbox).
· Wait 24–48 hours, as carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered before physical delivery.
· Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number to file a missing package report.
Le Sage May is not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by the carrier. We encourage customers to use a secure delivery location and to consider adding shipping protection where available at checkout.
Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please:
· Document the damage immediately by taking photos of the outer packaging and the damaged item(s).
· Contact us within 5 days of delivery at amanda@lesagemay.com with your order number and photos.
We will work with you to determine whether the damage occurred during shipping or was a product defect, and we will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund accordingly. Claims submitted more than 5 days after delivery may not be eligible for resolution.
SECTION 7 – PRE-ORDER SHIPPING
Le Sage May offers Pre-Order purchasing on select items that are not yet in stock but are on their way. Pre-ordering allows you to secure your item before it sells out. Here is what you need to know:
· Payment is collected in full at the time of pre-order.
· Estimated ship dates are listed on each pre-order product page. These dates are our best estimate based on supplier timelines and are subject to change.
· Pre-order items will ship separately from in-stock items. If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock items, your in-stock items may ship first at no additional charge.
· You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your pre-order item has shipped.
· In the rare event that a pre-order item becomes unavailable or is cancelled by the supplier, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Important: Pre-order items are final sale. They are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item is defective or incorrect.
SECTION 8 – INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
At this time, Le Sage May primarily ships within the United States. We are working to expand our shipping capabilities to serve our international community in the future.
If you are located outside the United States and are interested in placing an order, please reach out to us directly at amanda@lesagemay.com before placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate international requests on a case-by-case basis.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
For any international shipments we do facilitate, the following applies:
· The recipient is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees charged by their country upon arrival of the package.
· Le Sage May has no control over customs processes and is not responsible for delays caused by customs.
· We are required by law to accurately declare the value and contents of all international shipments. We will not mark packages as gifts or undervalue items to reduce customs fees.
SECTION 9 – HOLIDAY & PEAK SEASON SHIPPING
We love celebrating the seasons of life with our Le Sage May community — but we want to make sure your gifts arrive on time. During high-volume periods, please plan ahead:
· Thanksgiving & Christmas: Order by December 10 for standard shipping to arrive by Christmas. We recommend ordering by December 5 for the best chance of on-time delivery.
· Easter: Order at least 2 weeks before Easter Sunday for standard shipping.
· Mother's Day, Valentine's Day & Other Holidays: Order at least 10 business days in advance.
We will post specific holiday shipping deadlines on our website and social media accounts as major holidays approach. Please follow us @lesagemay for updates.
Note: Le Sage May is not responsible for carrier delays that occur during the holiday season. We strongly recommend ordering early.
SECTION 10 – GIFT ORDERS & GIFT NOTES
Sending a Le Sage May gift to someone special? We love that. Here is how to make it seamless:
· Enter the recipient's name and address as the Shipping Address at checkout.
· Enter your own information as the Billing Address.
· If you would like to include a personalized gift note, please email us at amanda@lesagemay.com immediately after placing your order with your order number and the message you'd like included.
Please note that order confirmation and tracking emails are sent to the email address entered at checkout. If you are sending a gift and do not want the recipient to receive order details, please use your own email address at checkout.
Gift wrapping may be available seasonally. Check our website or social media for current offerings.
